The Black Roman Emperor & King of England, Sepimus Severus (A.D. 146-211). He was the longest ruling, and most succesful, of all Roman Emperors, but has been blotted out of the "mystery history" books.

May 3,2010 THE EDITOR SIR:
Bede, the great Catholic historian, is one of the most reputable source on early English history and I have read the Penguin edition of his work, and also, the Oxford book on English History, in which the Africanus from Tripolitania, the blackman from Tripoli, Roman Emperor Septimus Severus is discussed. Indeed, Bede says Emperor Septimus 'was one of the four crowned martyrs, and is buried in the Church of York. I am, therefore shocked by the claim by Prof. Jim Bolton, that recent forensic analysis of anthropology digs "...is the first physical evidence that Black people were in medieval England." (Miami Herald, 5/3/2010, page - 10A).
It is indeed fortuitous that Sulfabittas Newsmagazine, on the link Black Giants, have an article by me on The Black King of England, an excerpt from my upcoming book.
This is why diverity in writing is important to ensure, truth be told, that history, as it is called, will not be distorted.

May we find a spot in our heart to seek peace and not let the desire for a thoughtless deed lead us to plunder ever thoughful Mother Nature, still the greatest mother---
